Hello, my name is Mohammed and I have a love of coding, designing and solivng problems. I am a competent developer with knowledge in Python, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript(ES5, ES6, ES7, NodeJS). But even after learning these languages, I am still learning new languages and frameworks to keep myself updated with current trends in the industry. My Professional experience includes work as a software engineer at Coding Temple and a Front-End Developer with Co.Lab where I was able to to showcase my Front-End capabilities by creating a mobile application that allows the user to track the amount of time they spend outside walking. I am currently working as a data analyst intern at Sunfield Advisors, demonstrating proficiency in Flask, React, database administration, and project management.

Front-End Engineer

Co.Lab | November 2023 - February 2024

● Collaborated with a group of Product Managers, Product Designer and Developers to create a groundbreaking application in the health industry for users to be able to track how much time they are spending outside.

● Addressed the challenge of encouraging users to spend more time outdoors by implementing real-time data integration using Node.js and MongoDB for outdoor activities, along with push notifications and goal-setting features to enhance user engagement and track progress effectively.

● Learned a plethora of new skills in a matter of two to three weeks such as React Native, Backend implementation with MongoDB, and Node.Js and collaborated in a professional technical setting.

● Conceptualized the Front-End with the Product Designer and other Developers to create a user friendly flow to allow the user to have an easier navigation through the application.

● Tested and deployed said application to the AppStore and the Google Play Store along with beta versions of the app to test minor bugs and issues with the application.

● Coded the front-end and implemented the back-end of the application and optimized user experience by 90%.

Projects

Poke Shop

Designed a multi-page web application using React, Bootstrap, and CSS for the Front-End and PostgreSQL and Flask for the Back-End, to utilize a Pokemon API where the user can add, or remove a Pokemon to and from their cart which can then be viewed on their profile.

Weather App

Utilizing React, Tailwind, JavaScript, and an OpenWeather API to create a Weather App that gives the weather for locations and can provide the weather of a user's location.

ToDo list App

Created a ToDo list application with React and CSS that can add, remove, update and check off a list.

TimeOut-

Constructed a mobile application using React Native that tracks the users time spent outside and allows the user to record their time and save it in a database so that the user can have a analytical view of their progress in terms of time as well as view their highest current streak that they have been walking and taking a TimeOut.

Crypto View

Used React, JSX and RapidAPI to create a web application that shows all of the cryptocurrencies and all the statistics and trends that are available to it right now, as well as news regarding the cryptocurrency.
